Dr. James D. Ely, D.D.S.
Dr. Ely joined Dr. Shaw in 1998. Dr. Ely believes that the key to overall health is to maintain good dental health. "The more gentle and patient I am the more likely patients will keep their appointments and maintain good dental health."
About Dr Ely:
Dr Ely sees patients of all ages and works hard to provide a family oriented environment. "My goal is to provide my patients the best dental care with modern technology and dental education for each patient."
Community Service:
Dr. Ely is an active member of the Circlevile First Church of Christ in Christian Union. Dr. Ely also serves as a junior and senior high school assistant softball coach and as a summer league baseball and softball coach.
My Background/Family:
Dr. Ely grew up in Avon Lake, Ohio. Dr. Ely and his wife Traci have two children, Madisen and Andrew.
My Education:
Dr. Ely graduated from Avon Lake High School and went on to attend both Ohio University and Ohio State. He graduated from Ohio University in 1993 and The Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 1997. Dr. Ely served his internship at the Coshocton Dental Clinic from 1997-1998.
My Professional Associations:
Dr. Ely is active member of the American Dental Association, the Hocking Valley Dental Society and the Noon Rotary.
My interests, hobbies
While spending time with his family, Dr. Ely enjoys golf, softball, basketball, reading and hiking. He also coaches soccer and enjoys riding his motorcycle, snow skiing and traveling.
